Counties in this area are in the permanent quarantine zone for all ash, olive and white fringe tree materials. To protect our forests, please do not bring any materials from these trees, including firewood, into Oregon State Parks. This will help slow the spread of the emerald ash borer, a highly invasive and destructive insect that threatens to wipe out all of Oregon’s ash trees. Help protect our forests by following these firewood tips: • Buy firewood local to your campsite: Choose firewood harvested within 10 miles of your destination or buy certified heat-treated firewood. • Avoid transporting restricted wood: Do not bring ash, olive, or white fringe tree materials into any Oregon State Park even if it’s within the same quarantine area. When in doubt about the tree species, leave it out. Learn more about the quarantine and emerald ash borer.

Camping
Primitive Camping
For those who want to spend the night under the stars, Cascara Campground has 39 campsites, vault toilets, a boat ramp and a swim area. The first-come, first-served sites are tucked among towering Douglas firs, many with lake views. Potable water available.
Just down the road, Fisherman’s Point Campground offers a primitive group site on the lake shore, with vault toilets and potable water. The camp has capacity for 64 people.
Where can I camp at Fall Creek Lake?
Cascara campground is a first-come, first-served campground open May-Sept. It is the only regular campground on the lake. Fisherman's Point Group Camp is by reservation only.
If Cascara Campground is full, where can I camp nearby?
Cascara is the only campground on the lake. However, there are several forest service campgrounds along Fall Creek, upstream of the lake. On Lookout Point Reservoir, to the south and east, Ivan Oaks campground and Black Canyon campground offer access to that lake when the water level is high.
