You don’t need an account. Saved parks, trip notes and your light/dark preference are stored in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them; use Export on the saved parks page to keep a copy.
Location
“Near me” asks your browser for your location only when you press it. The location is used in your browser to sort parks by distance and is not sent to our servers. You can type a town or ZIP code instead.
Analytics
We use Numative analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. See Numative’s own policy for how it handles visit data.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
Outbound links
Links to official park sites, booking systems and map apps take you to those services, which have their own policies.
