Trails
Oregon Trail Ruts State Historic Site (OTRSHS) provides visitors the opportunity to view and experience some of the best-preserved evidence of the great overland migration of the west, the Trail Ruts. Here emigrants trekking along the California, Oregon and Mormon trails struggled to make passage from the relatively level river bottom land to the rugged and rocky landscape of the High Plains.
