Grenada Lake water levels are controlled by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. Generally, the lake is lowered for flood control starting on July 1 to January 1 and starts its rise back to recreation pool level. At Hugh White State Park, dependent upon rainfall, generally the boat ramps are not usable November 1 to March 1 of each year. Many boat launch ramps are inoperable during this time; however, there are always low water ramps on the lake that are useable and available. You can view current lake levels at link below or by contacting the park office at (662) 226-4934.
